By focusing on eleven different people who were on the losing side of the American Revolution, and who had to make new lives for themselves in what remained of British North America, Eleven Exiles reflects the major themes of those turbulent years". Illustrated with b&w photos and maps. Ex-library with stamps, there are a couple of dog-eared pages and the card covers are bumped and worn; contents appear to be solid and clean.

This book constitutes "a complete collection of all the evidence extant which was heard by the two commissioners to Canada". Includes an index of names of claimants, witnesses and deponents. 2: Evidence in the Canadian Claims - Second Report Bureau of Archives - a collection of 15 fiche covering 1436 pages and subtitled Enquiry into the Losses and Services in Consequence of Their Loyalty; 3: Maps and Sketches - The Land - a large portfolio measuring 13x20 inches containing 20 pieces - illustrative maps and sketches on heavy card stock, many full page. Minor creasing to book covers and folio cases. Folio cases are tied with red ribbon which has started to fray; clean and complete.
