  • All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars
  • Shipping and handling is extra and is based on the weight of the book and its destination.
    - Please note, we have no control over the prices charged by Canada Post. Canada does not have a special book rate.
    We will always inform you of the total cost to you before you finalize your purchase.
  • We accept payment in Canadian or equivalent American Funds in the form of money orders or certified cheques
  • Sorry, but we cannot accept credit cards or payment through Paypal at this time
  • While we will make every attempt to keep the lists of books for sale current, all books are subject to prior sale

How to Order

  • send an e-mail to pmcgr@rogers.com to enquire if the book you are interested in is still available
  • put 'book enquiry' in the subject line
  • quote the inventory # and the title of the book in the body of the e-mail
  • provide a postal code so that we can provide the shipping costs
  • our reply to you will confirm if the book is available and if so, state the total cost and the address to which you should send the payment
  • include with your payment, the name of the book, the inventory # and the complete name and address to which the book should be mailed
  • we will notify you by e-mail once the book has been posted

End papers are illustrated with a "family tree" of the company. Also included is a letter hand written by Mr. Towne gifting the book. Library pocket pasted down on inside front cover, and a minor water stain on the bottom of front board. The contents are clean and the binding is solid.

n.d.; soft cover; unpaginated - approximately 40 single sided pages which are illustrations in full colour of Persian and Smyrna carpet designs, plus 4 smaller pages of the same. The book also includes 2 pages titled "For the use of Salesmen". Some wear to the spine ends and the corners of card covers and pages are bumped and/or dog-eared. The contents appear to be clean.

1936; Cigaretten-Bilderdienst, Altona-Bahrenfeld; hard cover, no dj; 127 & 165 pp respectively. Two volume set of the 1936 winter and summer Olympics. Illustrated with pasted in B&W photographs. Volume I has a fold-out coloured illustration of the Olympic site at the rear. Text is in German. Blue cloth boards are worn and the corners are bumped - the logo on the cover of volume II is worn. Bindings are solid and the text is clean.
